Dayhire routre

North:
North towards Marple is Bollington and Lyme Park.

The old mill town of Bollington offers good moorings, pubs and shops . The Adelphi and Clarence Mills offer shops and cafes.
Cruising time: 1hr.

Lyme Park NT House and Country Park - parkland with deer. Moor at bridge 15, access via footpath.
Cruising time: 4hrs+


South:

South towards Congleton, moorings at Gurnett and Oakgrove.
Picturesque Gurnett is a popular spot for boaters with The Old King's Head and Sutton Hall nearby.
Cruising time: ½hr.

Wooded Oakgrove has an electronic swing bridge (49) and The Fools Nook public house as well as many mooring places.
Cruising time: 1½hrs.

 Bosley locks.

Astra does not go through the locks and there is a turning point here. Cruising time: 2½hrs.
